Status Update on extended campaign

Hey everyone,

This is a small update to let you guys know that final results of the survey.

We are extremely grateful for your support towards running the extended campaign. With your blessing we will be moving forward to launching the extended campaign next week, on July 18th 10AM/1PM PST/EST. We will also be making an announcement for the campaign on Facebook later today or tomorrow, be sure to check it out!

Regarding the extend campaign.

Hello everyone,

First of all, we would like to thank everyone for participating in the polls and letting us know how you feel about the delay and a possible extended campaign. Based on a few of the comments on the polls page, it seems that we should've made the conditions of the new campaign more clear. We want to apologize for the confusion and clarify a few things.

The main purpose of the new campaign is a chance for us to raise additional funds from new backers so we will be able to add The Forgotten King chapter into the current book that we are working on.

All backers from the current campaign do not need to make additional pledges on the new campaign to receive the additional content. The extended chapter will be included in the core book as long as the campaign is funded. You are not obligated to make any more support than you already have! You have already made all of this possible!! Thank you!!!

We would, however, like to ask for your blessing for making the extended campaign. The polls will be opened to collect your opinions for a few more days. We plan to launch the extended campaign in mid July so there will be minimal impact on the delivery of the book regardless of the result.

Important update and announcement

Progress

Hey everyone,

It is time for some status update on the book. We are currently at about 80% completion for the book. Almost all the artworks for the book are done, except for a few sketches that needs to be colored. As for the writings, we have finalized the stories for all the heroes, we're filling the rest as we go along. All the basic stats for the RPG side of things are done and we are just waiting for them to be converted to system specific stats. 

As far as manufacturing goes, the printing job has been setup and we have just asked for a sample of the book to be test printed. Speaking of which, we would like to give you a sneak peek of the 160+ pages we have the prepared for it! You can see we have come a long way in the past few months. 

*Update* June 23rd - we have received the sample of the book from the printer! Here is the first glimpses of the book! (I know! The EPIC dust jacket looks SURREAL!)

Delivery 

Unfortunately, with our current progress, we are not be able to make the delivery date we initially set. When we were estimating the delivery dates prior to the launch of the campaign, we were honestly not expecting that we would be unlock this many stretch goals and hitting the full 200 page mark. We are making our best effort to finish the book as soon as we can and we will not in any way compromise the premium quality of this book that we have promised you. We estimate that we would need an extra 8~12 weeks to finish and manufacture the book. We sincerely apologize for not being able to delivery the book on time. 

The Forgotten King 

Even though we fell short of this stretch goal, a great deal of efforts has been made to include this extra chapter at our own expenses. However, we had to put the development of the extended chapter on hold in order to maintain the quality of the core product. 

Since we would be taking extra time to finish the current book, we deiced to run something by you guys. We are thinking about running an extended campaign on kickstarter to unlock the forgotten king chapter. This extended campaign would help us raise the additional funds in order to have this chapter added to the current book (about 20+ pages).
